Dr. Goutham Menon, Ph.D., MA., MBA.
Dr. Menon received a PhD in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; a MBA (Sustainability and Entrepreneurship) from the University of Nevada, Reno; a MA in Social Work from the University of Madras, India; and a BA in English Language and Literature from Loyola College Chennai, India. He has held faculty positions at the University of Texas at Arlington; University of South Carolina; University of Texas at San Antonio; and as Director & Professor, School of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno and is Former Dean & current Professor, School of Social Work, Loyola University Chicago. He is currently CEO of the Network for Social Work Management (NSWM) as the organization is undergoing a transformation phase.
He has over 30+ years experience in higher education and non-profit sectors. His research and professional expertise include the use of information and communication technologies in support of human/social services; higher education executive leadership; global sustainable development; innovation & change management; and in distance/online education.
Dr. Maureen Rubin, Ph.D., MA., MSW.
Dr. Rubin received a PhD in Social Work from the University of South Carolina; MSW from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; MA Social Work and a BA in Sociology from Stella Maris College, University of Madras. She has held faculty positions at the University of Texas at San Antonio; University of Nevada, Reno; and as Graduate Program Director at Aurora University, IL. She has received over $2.1 Million in federal grants for a variety of projects.
Dr. Rubin's academic, clinical, and administrative career over the last 30+ years has spanned curriculum development and implementation; training programs for professional development; and the improvement of the delivery of quality mental health care across the lifespan. Her grant supported presentations and publications have focused on addressing the mental health of children; adults with severe and persistent mental illness; health disparities, interprofessional education (IPE); community engagement; workforce development; program evaluation; and curriculum development. She has infused IPE in academic settings with various teams, including the utilization and assessment of standardized patients in training future professionals.
